1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).

Cialis was studied in a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study in patients aged 60 years and older. The trial was designed to allow us to make an informed decision about the best approach for the treatment of ED.
The trial was conducted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) as well as the American Heart Association (AHA) in partnership with the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
A total of 100 subjects with moderate-to-severe ED who had been treated for more than 6 months with sildenafil for ED, the trial included, or sildenafil citrate, or other sildenafil analogues.
The trial was conducted according to the NIH guidelines for the treatment of ED and to the ACCA/AHA. The study protocol was approved by the institutional review board of the NIH.
In the trial, the investigators administered the trial-specific dose of sildenafil (Viagra) to the participants in the trial. The 3 groups received one of the following 2 doses of sildenafil citrate: sildenafil (Viagra) 50 mg, sildenafil (Viagra) 100 mg, or sildenafil citrate 25 mg, or placebo, or another sildenafil analogues, in a dose of 50 mg.
